The 2019 edition of the UITP Global Public Transport Summit will take place in Stockholm. This event represents a great opportunity for decision-makers and industry suppliers to interact, exchange ideas and discover the lastest innovations, products and solutions in public transportation.

With more than 11,000 visitors, and around 320 exhibitors from 30 countries, the UITP is organized by the International Association of Public Transport.

In Stockholm, the County Council will invest 3,5 billion € in public transport over the next five years. All of Stockholm’s 2,100 public transport network buses are currently powered by renewable fuels, such as biogas, bioethanol and biodiesel. The city aims also to introduce electric buse services, as well as increasing the use of renewable fuels in the waterborne system of commuter boats.
