SUMMARY:Smart City Expo & Smart Mobility Congress in Barcelona
DESCRIPTION:Taking place in Barcelona\, from 19-21 November 2019\, this ed
ition of Smart City Expo and Smart Mobility Congress is a great opportuni
ty to in-depth debates on essential topics such as mobility\, digital tra
nsformation\, urban environment\, governance and finance\, and inclusive
and sharing cities.\n \nCOMING UP IN THE 2019 SMART MOBILITY CONGRESS\nTh
e scourge of traffic is still a major concern which takes the biggest eco
nomic toll on the largest\, most economically vibrant cities. In the US a
lone\, congestion cost $305 billion last year\, not to mention the price
of air pollution and stress. However\, these consequences don’t appear to
be enough to discourage people from using cars. In fact\, as all manner
of app-based transportation and delivery vehicles are packing the streets
\, transit ridership has begun to dip in some cities.\nMore details
